Sony Xperia 1 II 2020
Television Commercials
The SONY Xperia 1 II is a brand new 5G smartphone in 2020. The project aimed to produce a series of videos for television commercials and online marketing. We created three 15-second commercial videos along with a 3-minute music video for this project.
In this project, my role was that of a producer, responsible for the production timeline, storyboarding, shot list, and location in pre-production. During the shoot, I managed crew-cast coordination and oversaw the art department. In post-production, my responsibilities included editing, color grading, and quality control.
This was the first time I was in the role of producer. Being a producer in a small crew, you are responsible for all departments: wardrobe, pets, set and setting, location, equipment etc. The biggest challenge in this project was having pets and kids on set and keeping everything in the schedule. I think I have improved a lot in communication, and multi-task management skill to coordinate with different parties in this project.
